Service Areas
Service Areas allow you to define geographical zones to organise your work by location. When you create service areas, visits on your schedule will display a coloured border that instantly shows which area each job is in - helping you plan efficient routes and group nearby work together.
Why Use Service Areas?
- Route Efficiency: Quickly see which jobs are in the same area and schedule them together
- Visual Organisation: Each area has its own colour that appears on schedule cards
- Automatic Assignment: Properties are automatically assigned to areas based on their location
- Coverage Planning: See where you service and identify gaps or overlaps
Getting Started
- Go to Settings → Service Areas
- Click + Add Service Area
- Enter a name and choose a colour
- Draw the boundary on the map
- Click Create
Once created, any property within that boundary will automatically be assigned to the service area, and visits to that property will show the area's colour on the schedule.

Quick Tips
Colour Coding
Choose distinct colours for areas that are geographically close to each other. This makes it easier to spot routing inefficiencies at a glance.
Start Simple
Begin with 3-5 broad areas covering your main service regions. You can always refine boundaries or add more areas later.
