Sending Emails

Send professional, branded emails to your clients directly from YardPilot. Every email automatically includes your company logo and contact details.

Sending an Email from a Visit

  1. Open the Schedule or Jobs screen
  2. Click on a visit to open the detail panel
  3. Click the Email tab
  4. Enter a subject and message
  5. Click Send

The email is sent to the contact associated with that visit.

What Clients Receive

Your emails are professionally branded with:

  • Company logo displayed prominently at the top
  • Your message in the body
  • Company footer with your phone, email, and website
  • Attribution showing which team member sent the message

Hi Sarah,

Just confirming we'll be at your property tomorrow at 9am
for the scheduled lawn maintenance.

Email Settings

Company Branding

To update your email branding:

  1. Go to Settings > Company Profile
  2. Upload your Company Logo
  3. Set your Brand Colour
  4. Update your Contact Details

These settings apply to all emails sent from YardPilot.

From Address

Emails are sent from your company email address (e.g., info@yourcompany.com.au). Replies go to the team member who sent the message.

Set Up Your Email

Make sure your company email is configured in Settings > Company Profile for professional-looking emails.

Using Templates

Instead of typing each message from scratch:

  1. Click Use Template when composing
  2. Select a template (e.g., "Appointment Reminder")
  3. The message auto-fills with personalised content
  4. Edit if needed, then send

Troubleshooting

"Contact has no email address"

The contact doesn't have an email on file. Add their email in the contact profile first.

Email not sending

Check that:

  • You have an internet connection
  • The contact has a valid email address
  • Your company email is configured in settings
